The huge cemetery is situated in the middle of Recoleta. On this impressive cemetery you can find the crypts of the city’s most elite. Past presidents, military heroes, politicians but also the plain rich and famous have been given their last resting place here. A highlight is definitely the tomb of Evita. Guided tours are offered, but there’s also a map available at the entrance that shows where graves of interest are located.
